Using colors to melt stress, and to reduce and repair the effects of trauma may sound like a stretch to many of us.

But this is exactly what I did after an assailant cut my throat. At first I froze. I tried to scream, but no sound came out. I became isolated by the stigma of being a victim. Alone in darkness, I listened to the Creator within and followed the colors to the Light.

With all that is going on across the U.S. and on our planet earth right now, I feel compelled to do what I can to help prevent this pandemic from turning into mass trauma & PTSD.

There are no words to express how we feel when our life is threatened. So many emotions well up inside us all at once.
Day by day, I released the emotions with color, replacing the angst and counter-balancing the toxicity of the trauma. This lets your innate creative healing process function fully to restore wellness.

The Creator's spectrum of color aligns with our chakra energy centers along the spine in a rainbow. You don't have to be an artist to use color wavelengths in this healing way. Try these 3 simple ways of listening to the Creator's colors within.

1. Get out into full spectrum sunlight. Artificial light does not have all the wavelengths your mind-body-spirit needs to function fully.

2. Let the colors within you shine. Whatever expression voice sings your colors ~ let them glow your radiance. Release the angst in color, song, poetry, dance. Your heart chakra inhales and exhales energy. Flex it to feed you mind-body-spirit.

3. When you feel the fight or flight red light signal, look instead for green light of heart center chakra to balance and heal the effects of trauma. These can co-exist, it's human and divine working together within you.
